I have worked in the medical profession for over 30 years, 25 in the NHS.
I started as a Registered General Nurse and then further trained as a Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Mindfulness Teacher.
I split my working week between my NHS Counsellor role and my private practice.
I am a Registered Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP (Accred) and a Registered Member of the National Council Hypnotherapy (MNCH).
I have Professional Liability insurance cover with Oxygen and my DBS is up to date.
As your therapist I will listen, support and work with you. Firstly, by finding out what you are struggling with and how it impacts on your life. I will use a variety of theories, strategies and tools which I mix and match depending on what your worries and concerns are, how you process things and your personality. I can then adapt each session to your needs and difficulties in order for you to gain insight, movement and to help you put changes into your life, in order for you to feel happier and more contented.
I am a emphatic, friendly and warm therapist who is very understanding , open and honest.
